Poultry Stunner (Turkeys, Geese etc.)

Description

A spring powered penetrative captive bolt poultry stunner suitable for on farm poultry slaughter intended for larger birds such as turkeys or geese up to 25kg and small animals up to 5kg. For chickens and lighter ducks, we recommend the smaller unit.

Unlike other captive bolt stunners, this unit does NOT require a power source (battery or mains) and does NOT require cartridges to be purchased.

This item is intended for the small operator and is a more affordable alternative to the more expensive captive bolt devices that require blanks or a compressor to operate them. The stunner projects a captive 5.5mm bolt and as such must be used by a trained operator following the safety instructions.

For smaller poultry such as chickens we recommend the small poultry stunner.
